Before I start writing this I noticed that the consumer affair posted "Based on 537 ratings on ONE STAR submitted in the last year-2017". The BBB has a similar ratings as well.

For the past several years I have been ordering on line from these guys and been paying whatever the total amount was. Via feedback from recipients, I found out that there zero quality control between the picture they promise to deliver for you and the actual arrangements delivered for you. Day and night. Got very concerned.

Found the owner in CT, Michael Chapin, mchapin@***.com. Filed a complaint with BBB and the Pissed off Consumer websites. I received a response from James Amendola, Operation's Manager, jamendola@***.com, 860.510.0483 when BBB reached out to him. He offered me some refunds and do movers on couple of delivery and appointed a sole staff to take my future orders.

We turned the page. Since then, the only soar notion stuck with me was that at the checkout, the original cost posted on the web disappears and the numbering game starts which on average adds up a healthy 35% mark up to what you thought the price range would be. Today, I talked with Jim and got the details of the rip off and I concluded with him, there will be no more orders ever again from me and I will refile with all agencies. The scam works like this; I selected Madly in Love for posted price of $50.39.

I clicked it and 3 options for regular, delux and premium, $50.39, $58.39, $66.39 respectively. I chose deluxe for $58.39. I sent an email to Jim with that link. In a follow up to pay for the item I was told the cost of the flower is $72.99, a crossed number next to the teaser price posted which legally is the cost of the item regardless of whatever crossed or else is on the page, then add tax for $4.59, Delivery for $14.99 to total of $77.97.

When I challenged him on the price, the explanation was that the actual price is the crossed number of $72.99 and I got 20% discount. There was no discount. actually, the web said enter the code C11 at check out to get 20% discount. So what you see on the web is only an illegal teaser rate and at the checkout you will be taken for fools.

I committed to Jim that I will post this with CA attorney general, BBB, FTC, and all other sites available to me. This practice constitutes fraud on many levels.
