I ordered flowers to be delivered on february 13th, and they never got delivered. I thought I was being smart by ordering them to arrive the day before Valentine's, to avoid a situation exactly like this where stuff gets confused on a crazy day.

Like a good boyfriend, I ordered them well in advance (on the 8th), and my credit card was charged. The one email I received from them that actually pertained to my order says the order is "processing," but I figured since my card was charged it should be fine.

The day went by without the flowers being delivered. I got the address right, and it was to a very small office with only three people who know each other very well, so I know for a fact that they weren't delivered.

I've placed two calls at this point, and for both calls, From You Flowers says that the local florist they used says the flowers were delivered, but they can't do anything until the florist can talk to their driver.

I don't see what the point is, and besides we are talking about an order from yesterday. Certainly their driver isn't driving around with yesterday's delivery logs?

I asked them to refund my money so I could go out and buy flowers for the girlfriend (I don't have a lot of money and can't afford to buy ADDITIONAL flowers, especially on the one day when they're super expensive and hard to find), but they refused.

Look, I know, stuff like this happens all the time and I'm used to it. But these flowers aren't for me. They're for the girlfriend. Whose co-workers all got flowers. Who is spending the day going on facebook looking at pictures of OTHER people's flowers. Whose mother is probably asking whether or not she got flowers. You know? There's no way to make this right. All I can give her for valentine's day is a very sorry excuse.

I've worked in customer service and have bent over backwards apologizing when things don't go right, issuing credits immediately in many cases. It makes me very very angry that it's up to me to put in the effort to rectify the situation, that I don't know if I'm even going to GET a refund, and even though I went out of my way to avoid the craziness by having the flowers delivered a day early, I'm the one that looks bad here and the girlfriend doesn't get her flowers for valentine's. This is supposed to be the easy part. I am a very kind, gentle, patient person and it takes a LOT to get me upset. I spent all day waiting for my excited phone call yesterday, and all day today thinking about how I'm getting hosed. I will try as best I can, but I know this is going to be on my mind for the rest of what should be a fun, enjoyable, romantic day with the one I love.

Believe you me, I am very, very upset.

I don't know if you'll come back and read the responses to your post, but I am in the girlfriend's shoes in the same situation with this horrible company. My boyfriend sheepishly called me before I felt work today to ask if I had gotten anything .

. . I hadn't. He ordered them be delivered by noon, but they still weren't there at the end of the day.

Poor guy! Trust me, your girlfriend appreciates the gesture very much and think the world of you for trying.

Also, on a side note, I work at a bank -- if this company wont' refund your money, contact the bank whose card you used and ask that they file a dispute/claim for the funds.

Whether the flowers were never delivered or if they were delivered but really *** you should have recourse through your bank. We have categories like, "merchandise not recieved" and "merchandise not as described" for these situations and they ARE eligible for a refund/dispute.
